Welcome to ECOLINK Philippines!

The ECOLINK Philippines is one of the leading grassroots-based non-profit developmental NGO in the southern Philippines making huge, positive impacts towards the communities.

The ECOLINK Philippines used to be an environmental NGO established way back year 2002 engaged in several projects by well known funding agencies like the World Bank, JBIC and the Asian Development Bank. But on October 2008, it has taken a bold move to revise its mandate to become a more responsive non-profit organization serving an even much larger scope of beneficiaries.

Now, the ECOLINK Philippines can be regarded as a new and emerging multi-disciplinary developmental NGO looking into all aspects of social change. It is composed of highly-skilled volunteer young professionals who devote their time, expertise and resources for the achivement of the organization's goals.

Vision

ECOLINK Philippines envisions equitable development in the Southern Philippines and other regions through people empowerment, peace-building and social justice.

Mission

It is our life-long mission to :

1. Assist grassroots communities and local government units in addressing widespread poverty in the region through environmental conservation & sustai nable development.

2. Provide technical and financial aid to emerging indigenous, youth, farmers and women's organizations that do not have access to larger resources.

3. Develop and manage initiatives that will contribute to the promotion of women, youth and indigenous rights and welfare.

Goals

 

It is our deepest commitment to achieve the following goals:

1. Improved governance and transparency in the government thereby resulting in improved delivery of services to the people.

2. Sustainable management, protection and rehabilitation of rainforests, natural parks and threatened/ endangered ecosystems.

3. An atmosphere of equality in the society where a woman enjoys the utmost political, economic and cultural liberty and of hope for social justice and peace for cultural minorities, youth and children.

4. A culture of giving and mutual cooperation among all stakeholders in the society.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

ECOLINK Philippines has nine full-time volunteer management personnel.

 

Our Core Staff is supported by at least 510 Community Volunteers who are selflessly making each of our endeavors a sucess.In addition to, a Pool of Consultants provides technical guidance and hands-on expertise to our management and field staff whenever necessary.
